Longtime Pro-Life Congressman Ike Skelton Dies
Missouri Right to Life extends prayers and condolences to the family of former Congressman Ike Skelton.  Ike Skelton was a consistent pro-life vote in Washington on a variety of life-related bills.  He stood up for unborn babies when many in his party took an anti-life position.  We are grateful for his many years of witness to the sanctity of life in our nation's capital. May he rest in peace.

MRL PAC Opposes Jackson County's Question 1: the $800 Million Research Tax
"Missouri Right to Life State PAC, like many other groups including the Citizens Association and Freedom, Inc., opposes this regressive $800 million tax.  It is not right to expect Jackson County families to spend their hard-earned money to subsidize some of Kansas City's wealthiest corporations without any strings attached.  Divided by every man, woman, and child in the County, that's nearly $1,200 for each person.  Meanwhile, these hospitals pay their CEOs millions of dollars a year, yet they want to pass the cost of expanding their business on to taxpayers.  This is not right."

Ambulance Called to StL Planned Parenthood Brings Total For Year to 13!
Just two days ago, faithful prayer volunteers were braving the weather to stand for life outside of Planned Parenthood when, around 11:35 am, an ambulance (the second one seen since the start of the 40 Days Campaign!) pulled into the parking lot of Planned Parenthood. Three male EMT's carried a young woman out on a stretcher with a sheet covering her face...read more.

The Reality of Forced Abortion in America
Many well-kept secrets are difficult to believe, once revealed. And most Americans would assert that forced abortion does not take place in our nation. Unfortunately, the only true part of that statement is that our laws do not force abortion (unlike China's One Child Policy). However, many women across our nation are indeed faced with forced abortion...read more.
