Will Nixon OK Medicaid coverage for `unborn children'?
Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon this week slashed nearly every new or increased program in the state budget, from autism diagnostic centers to forensic exams for abused kids to dental care for low-income adults.  Nonetheless, supporters of a bill extending Medicaid coverage to more pregnant women are optimistic that Nixon will sign that measure. SCOTUS Will Hand Down Mandate Ruling Monday, June 30
Many pro-lifers have been praying almost constantly for a decision from the Supreme Court that upholds our constitutionally guaranteed right to the freedom of religion. Pro-Life Around the State

June 28, Columbia - Second Annual MRP BBQ. Please register here, so we have enough food! The event will be from 12:30PM-3PM at the Memorial Student Union in the Mark Twain room (second floor). The cost is only $20 per family.

June 29, St. Louis - at St. Mary Magdalen in south city, 4924 Bancroft will hold a naming and commendation service for any infant who has died before birth. Mass with service, 2:00 pm.

July 9, Statewide - last day to mail your voter registration form to vote in the August primary, see information above.

August 5, Statewide - Primary election.  Get out to vote.

September 12, St. Charles - save the date for the St. Charles Chapter Golf Tournament. More details will come later. 

October 2, Kansas City - Missouri Right to Life - Western Region annual banquet at the Hilton Garden Inn in Independence. Speaker will be Sheryl Crosier, mother of Simon and author of "I am not a syndrome, my name is Simon."

October 8, Statewide - last day to mail your voter registration form to vote in the November general election.

November 4, Statewide - General election. Get out to vote.
