Press Conference Held in Washington, MO for Ceremonial Bill Signing of 72 Hour Reflection Bill

On Wednesday, October 1, a press conference sponsored by Missouri Right to Life, Speaker Tim Jones and President Pro-Tem Tom Dempsey was held in Washington, MO for the ceremonial signing of HB's 1307 and 1313.


This bill, extending the 24 hour reflection period to 72 hours, was passed during the regular session and the veto session with strong bi-partisan support.  HB's 1307 & 1313 will go into effect on Friday, Oct. 10.

Fall 40 Days for Life Campaign Has Already Saved 28 Babies From Abortion

As of Monday of this week, there have been 28 babies saved - that we know of! That makes the number of lives reported spared from abortion since 40 Days for Life began as a coordinated effort in 2007 a phenomenal total of 9,001!... read more.

Supreme Court takes up Case Restricting PAC Expenditures 

Vermont's campaign-finance law, that requires a lobby group to be a PAC if it engages in over $1,000 in issue advocacy and that imposed contribution limits on Vermont "superpacs," was appealed Monday to the U.S. Supreme Court. The challenge is brought by Vermont Right to Life Committee, Inc. ("VRLC"), and Vermont Right to Life Committee   Fund for Independent Political Expenditures...read more.
