In this battle of life and death, it's easy sometimes to get discouraged, to feel as if we are failing, to wonder if any of it makes any difference. But we are blessed. And, we must be grateful to our loving God. We hope you gather your friends and family around you this Thanksgiving and truly give thanks!
"Every breath is a battle between grudgery and gratitude. Give thanks...and you win joy." -Ann Voskamp

MRL Statewide Meeting Rescheduled for December 6
As you know by now, the expected bad weather of last Saturday did not really happen until Sunday and even then it was pretty mild. Once again, weather predictions do not pan out. Still, it was better to guarantee that everyone would be safe and postpone our Nov. 15th statewide meeting.
We have rescheduled the meeting for December 6th and have already heard from many people that they are anxious and ready to come. The meeting is still at Immaculate Conception Parish but in Kertz Hall. Kertz Hall is the basement of the largest building on the Immaculate Conception Parish campus, the grade school. Go around to the back of that building (that is easiest by entering the lower parking lot from Clark street) and enter the door with MRL signs posted.
All other details remain the same. Please mark your calendar now and join us to hear Nancy Valko, past president of Nurses for Life discuss the decline in medical ethics and the impact of that on the right to life in our state and nation.
All are welcome. The event will be from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. Please arrive 10-15 minutes early. Lunch is provided with free-will offering. Registration is required. Email or call: firstname.lastname@example.org or 573-635-5110.
