Legislative Update
The House and Senate have begun hearings and debate on the floor.

At this time there have been 771 bills and 76 various resolutions filed in the House, and 359 bills and 28 various resolutions filed in the Senate.

Your Missouri Right to Life Legislative Team is actively reviewing and acting on all bills dealing with life issues.  This report gives you an update on relevant bills each week.

 

This week the House Children and Families Committee heard three pro-life bills:

HB 427 - Sponsor:  Kathy Swan - Designates the priority for the state with respect to any funding for family planning services (Support) - February 3, 2015 - Hearing Scheduled in Children and Families Committee.

MRL President Steve Rupp to Speak at Midwest March for Life Luncheon

Reminder: The Midwest March for Life is tomorrow, January 31. The March will begin at 10:00 am at the Governor's mansion, followed by a rally and a luncheon (reservation required) where MRL president, Steve Rupp, will be a guest speaker.


 
Prior to the march there will be educational booths and prayer in the state capitol rotunda. Please come and show your pro-life support and Wear Red For Life!
