This week the Missouri House Children and Families Committee held their first hearing on pro-life legislation.
In the Senate, Senator David Sater, Chairman of the Children and Families Committee turned in to the full senate the first pro-life bills of the 2017 legislative session to be on the Senate Calendar for debate and passage.

Pro-life Missourians from across the state gathered at Senator Claire McCaskill's offices in Columbia, Springfield and Kansas City this week to urge the Democratic senator to support President Donald Trump's nominee for the Supreme Court.
"A judge cannot come right out and talk about cases that may be before them as far as their exact leaning where that may go. But as an originalist, there is no mention of abortion or the ability to kill unborn children in the U.S. Constitution," said Dave Plemmons, chairman of the southwest Missouri region of MRL.
