Governor Parson Speaks in Support of Pro-life Legislation at GOP Statewide Lincoln Days
MRL Executive Director, Susan Klein, addresses pro-life crowd
Last weekend many state and federal office holders from Missouri, as well as hundreds of conservative supporters, met in St Louis for the GOP Statewide Lincoln Days.

Saturday afternoon a pro-life rally was held in recognition of the great work that pro-life legislators have done in the past as well as the pro-life work they are doing in the 2019 legislative session.

Pro-life Missourians are looking for a great year where it is expected that pro-life majorities in the Missouri House and Senate will pass one of the most pro-life bills ever passed in the United States!

We are the Show-me State! We are proud to be from Missouri!
Pro-Life Action Day
Your presence in the Capitol on Tuesday, March 12th , can help save lives.

The highlight of the current session was February 27th when the Missouri House passed HB 126 with multiple provisions protecting unborn children and the health and safety of women. The bill now goes to the Senate for debate.

The Senate needs to hear from you! Please come show your support for this legislation!

Registration starts at 10:00, 1st Floor under the dome.
Legislative Update
The Highlight of the week was on Wednesday, March 6 when the Missouri Senate Health and Pensions Committee held a hearing for 4 pro-life bills. The 4 pro-life bills heard are:

  • SB 279, the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act, sponsored by Sen. Bob Onder;
  • SB 139, the Heartbeat bill, sponsored by Sen. Andrew Koenig;
  • SB 345, the trigger bill to ban abortion in Missouri when Roe v Wade is overturned, sponsored by Sen. Andrew Koenig. This bill includes a life of the mother exception; and,
  • SB 312, the bill to define the mission of the State Department of Health and Senior Services to say that they care for the life of all Missourians, born and unborn, sponsored by Sen. Bill Eigel.

The Senate Health and Pensions Committee members are: https://www.senate.mo.gov/hpen/

If your Senator is on this committee, call and ask him/her to vote in support of these 4 bills.

Pro-life Missourians look forward to the Senate’s action on these life-saving pieces of legislation as well as the HB 126 as amended that was delivered to the Senate last week. We look forward to the full Senate standing with the House and passing the most pro-life bill ever attempted in our country that will include multiple life-saving bills on one bill.
