TODAY….MONDAY, April 23, 2012 - MISSOURI HOUSE PASSES ANOTHER BILL WITH PRO-LIFE PROVISION PROTECTING WOMEN

HCS HB 1890 started out as an insurance bill but was amended to include a requirement that any physician administering RU 486 for the purpose of an abortion must carry the same malpractice insurance as others in the medical industry providing surgical abortions.  This provision will save lives and protect women from those who would take advantage of her while in a vulnerable situation.  It will ensure that there be accountability for the physician and that quality care be given to the woman.
