“This year, Governor Nixon vetoed two of Missouri Right to Life’s highest-priority bills – the 72 hour abortion reflection period extension and the expansion of the tax credit for contributions to pregnancy resource centers. These two measures are vital to ensuring Missouri continues to lead the way on pro-life legislation, and we hope that the General Assembly will override the Governor’s vetoes on both when they convene for veto session. Protecting life must be our state’s number one goal,” said Susan Klein, Legislative Liaison.
